Texas Rape Prevention and Control Project records, 1974-1983.

Progress reports, grant applications and requests, correspondence, financial records, programs and speeches, and legal documents. Newspaper and magazine clippings are included which document rape prevention and prosecution at state and national levels. Convention material, letters, and procedural documents depict the cooperative effort between the Organization and the Texas Medical Association in developing a standardized rape examination procedure. Correspondents include the Criminal Justice Division of the Office of the Governor, and two major benefactors, the Hogg Foundation for Mental Health and the Levi Strauss Foundation.
